Octavio Rojas

Octavio Isaac Rojas Orduña is an expert in communication and public relations with a global vision, having offered consulting services in both, Mexico – his homeland, and Spain where has been residing since 1997.

He read Communication Science at the Universidad del Valle de Mexico specializing in corporate communications and advertising, as well as communication and political management at the University Complutense of Madrid.

An award-winning radio writer in Mexico, Latin America and Europe, Octavio also was awarded a Web Award in the category “Standard of Excellence” for creating the website of the Spanish interprofessional organization INTERCUN dedicated to the rabbit meat.

He is a columnist and a regular contributor the media specialized in communication and public relations in Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador and Uruguay. He also writes in English for the U.S. publications, and in Portuguese for the media in Brazil and Portugal.

He is a guest speaker at several universities across Spain and Mexico and has been lecturing since 2006 in ESIC at the faculty of Advertising and Public Relations.
Octavio is the organizer of Beers & Blogs Madrid, an informal gathering of bloggers which has taken place every month since 2005 and well as the organizer of Blogs. The Conversation which are being held annually since 2007.
